Ita'i ED is a School Uniform Program where the Okene-based social enterprise collaborates with schools to modify their school uniform by adding a touch of Itinochi to their current uniforms, graduation attires etc.

The Ita'i Global Ambassador is one who embodies the spirit of the woven cloth - quality, versatile, driven by community & home values.

Centuries-long traditions are now met with lack of interest due to its tedious nature and the physical toll it takes on the body. Taking up to three days to weave a single piece, the average weaver as she gets older, is found to suffer from back pain, joint aches, arthritis, osteoporosis etc.

Fully endorsed by the Ebira people, the objective is to reinstate the teaching/learning process of traditional cloth weaving in Kogi State schools up to tertiary level.

“ITINOCHI” is an historical documentary/drama on the intriguing journey of the Ebira Cloth.
