INTRODUCING ITA'I ED!

Ita'i ED is a School Uniform Program where the Okene-based social enterprise collaborates with schools to modify their school uniform by adding a touch of Itinochi to their current uniforms, graduation attires etc. By this Ita'i is not only supporting the weavers' economic independence, but also adding historical value to the children's everyday attire, and furthermore, preserving the weaving culture of these communities. Through this initiative, Ita’i has created jobs and engaged local communities from tailoring, weaving to tailoring, storytelling, art classes, script writing, theatre and TV production.
